Rochester was shocked at the sudden death of B. Laverne Borst, 46, of 406 Taylor St., last Friday evening. She had been ailing sightly during the day, grew gradually worse and sucumbed to a heart attack late in the day.
She was a member of the first Congregational Church of Rochester, and had lived in the village for the past 17 yers, coming here from Pontiac. Services were held from the Pixley Funeral Home Monday afternoon and burial was in Mt Avon Cemetery.
surviving are her husband, Cyril; one son, Robert; ons daughter, Jaunita; two brothers, Stanley Schlicht of Oxford and Leonard of Pontiac; her mother, Mrs Bertha Hart of Thomas.
